I'm up for it. If a foundation controls the actual Bacula code ownership, it's fairly simple to have "support" providers contribute a reasonable amount to the foundation to get some type of "approved" seal, and if the foundation is non-profit, it's tax deductible in most countries. This model scales well, as it allows end users to contribute to local economies, and allows anyone to play if they want to w/o getting into competing with each other. It also allows different organizations to configure support packages to fit individual markets. ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ Bacula-users mailing list Bacula-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bacula-users
