Hi all, I'm using bacula 1.34 on a Mandrake^H^H^H^H^HMandriva LE 2005 system. This machine services backups for a number of other machines on the network.
I have two DLT2000 tape drives attached to the same SCSI controller. I currently have backups running just fine on a single drive, and I would like to take advantage of both of them. What I would like to do is - load both drives with blank tape - write to tape drive 1 until full - send me email saying that tape 1 is full - write to tape drive 2 until full - send me email saying that tape 2 is full - assuming I have mounted a new tape in drive 1, write until drive 1 is full - etc. Basically, if I keep the drives fed with blank tapes, I want continuous writing. If this is possible, I don't see how to do it from the documentation. Has anyone had any experience with this type of operation? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
