I've got everything working with filestorage, and now I want to do some
testing with my library (exabyte 10h w/8705). The mtx scripts and btape
both seem to work fine. Whenever I try to access the storage daemon
(label, status...), bacula(1.36.2) hangs indefinitely. If I manually put
a tape in the drive and do the same thing it reports back that the
Library was found and the volume isn't labeled. I had a similar (exact
same?) problem with mt. Using whatever version is installed with the
debian sarge base install, my system would hang after issuing 'mt -f
/dev/st0 status', but only if there were no tape in the drive. After
apt-getting the mt-st package, the problem vanished. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Thomas
