Hey.

Below is a backup report - first of all, am I reading this right? It looks to me like the actual backup is finished by around 22:42 (data actually transferred to asclbackup by 21:15, and then another 1.5 hours or so to dump it to tape), and then the next 8 hours are spent dealing with the attributes. I'd really like to be able to speed that up a bit...
I have the exact same problem, Bacula spools 25GB in ~1.5 million files with a good speed and writes them to tape "in no time". Despooling the attributes takes ages.
See the "Speed up backup of small files" thread ~2 weeks ago.
The only advice I got was to "get a bigger database-server". Now, we already run a 2.8Ghz Xeon with plent of RAM. Too bad.
On the up side, the MSL6030 library works perfectly with bacula.
I'll add that to the website, thanks. :)
Greetings, Michael
