For the clock, UNE 10.10 replaces the old clock applet with indicator-datetime. It's not used in standard Ubuntu 10.10, because it doesn't yet show Evolution calendar events. Branches welcome! <http://apt.ubuntu.com/p/indicator-datetime> <https://code.launchpad.net/indicator-datetime> <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/TimeAndDate> For the network, I've been testing indicator-network as a replacement for Network Manager for months. This is still in an alpha stage, but hopefully it will be shippable for 11.04. Again, anyone is welcome to dive in and help out. <http://apt.ubuntu.com/p/indicator-network> <https://code.launchpad.net/indicator-network> <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Networking> For power, we're currently using a custom status menu inside gnome-power-manager. It's possible this may migrate to a system status menu, but it wouldn't matter much if that didn't happen for 11.04. <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/BatteryStatusMenu> - -- Matthew Paul Thomas http://mpt.net.nz/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAky0kaMACgkQ6PUxNfU6ecpvgwCfRouWaJhJD1TAdUiMjBq7YuFU BBQAnRjaeSd2is86OngcWipmo3Ik0pWI =nIyS -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ayatana Post to : ayatana@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ayatana More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
