Cool.

Nor I. I updated config.guess/config.sub though.

I've emailed a couple of GNU people, who probably don't know either but
probably ought to be aware that these files need to be visibly centrally
maintained. I'll let you know if anything comes of it.

No problem -- thanks for letting me =)O|
Just uploaded the following to ftp.gnu.org:
867b8282685c51ad438921aa26e717f5 automake-1.4-1.4-p1.diff.gz
29f6e49a4cd63b2c60c6166252756979 automake-1.4-1.4-p1.tar.xdp.gz
e08f40620447c6889d0e42098b08409a automake-1.4-p1.tar.gz
I noticed after uploading that you haven't made diffs or xdeltas for your
other releases. I can delete the new diff and xdelta if you like.
I didn't make an announcement (even to info-gnu) since we might want to give
the mirrors a chance to get a copy before clogging ftp.gnu.org. If you don't
have a formalised announcement procedure, and want me to post something
tomorrow then let me know.
Early upgraders will probably have more luck fetching this release via
anoncvs, thusly:
cvs -z3 -d :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvs/automake \
co -r Release-1-4-p1 -d automake-1-4-branch automake
Cheers,
Gary.
