Current version of Autoconf is 2.50. You can take it from
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/autoconf/autoconf-2.50.tar.gz
Reporting problems with the older versions of Autoconf is useless - nobody
will fix an old version when a new version exists.
Also please make sure not to send HTML messages to the public mailing
lists. It is unfriendly to text-only mail clients. Sending the message as
both text and HTML is also discouraged since it duplicatess the mail
traffic.
