   Well, I implemented a dying one.  Again, this patch is here so that we
   can discuss about something precise.  Maybe we ought to integrate the
   --cross flag from Pavel, I really don't know, I'm no cross compilation
   expert at all (never ever practiced either).

Dying is definitely wrong.  I am also inclined to vote against
warnings.

I don't think --cross is needed.
