Perhaps eventually, but I suspect that it's premature to do it now.

Part of the problem is that STDC_HEADERS is currently specific to ANSI
C (1989); it hasn't been modernized to ISO C 1999.  Now's not the time
to fix this, though it might not hurt to mention this in the manual.
