A primary goal for CentOS Atomic Host Continuous[1] is to more consistently integrate Project Atomic components on CentOS 7 as a base.
Recently I had to "freeze" skopeo integration due to us only pulling in golang 1.4 from CentOS Core: https://github.com/projectatomic/skopeo/issues/89 However, it is probably time to bump it. There are some well-known issues with 1.6, such as: https://github.com/docker/docker/issues/20865 Now, in order to do this I had to enhance rpmdistro-gitoverlay: https://github.com/CentOS/sig-atomic-buildscripts/pull/86 and fix a bug in the fedora golang packaging: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1342329 Finally, here's a link to the PR to bump it: https://github.com/CentOS/sig-atomic-buildscripts/pull/86 I've only done some light testing so far, but sending this out as a heads up.
