I have been listening to Endhiran non-stop ever since it released. I must
admit. I didnt like it at the beginning. I felt as though most of the songs
have fallen short of expectation. I was expecting to be blown out of my mind
from sheer brilliance of the music. But what I got was songs that were at best
brilliant at some point in bits and pieces.
But, boy oh boy, I couldnt be more wrong.
Many have spoken of ar rahman songs as slow poisons. I have also experienced it
many times before. But this time, the effect is far more profound.
I am now singing a different tune. I now feel that Endhiran is one of Ar Rahman
most briliiant commercial compositions of all time.
It must seem as though I am overly exaggerating. But this is how I honestly
feel.
Why the sudden change in opinion you may ask?
Well, I dont know exactly why. Its as though my brain has started to finally
tune in to the right frequency.
Its as though I have finally come to a realization or an awakening to the
genius. The Endhiran songs brilliance were revealed to me one layer at a time.
Each song is a revelation. Every one of them.
I am at loss for words. I cant seem to express my thoughts clearly in words but
the music is brilliant guys.
Music composed with the Super Star, The Robot element and Shankars grand vision
in mind with plenty of magic all over.
Melody, Groove, Rap, Techno all mixed into a concotion of such potent musical
brilliace that Tamil music has never seen or heard before.
I truly believe that many will come to experience the bliss of realization of
the magic in Endhiran music once they are ready for it. Some realize it earlier
and some will realize later. Everyone is different and will have to go through
the process themselves to discover the magic.
But without doubt, once the movie is released every one of us will be hooked to
the songs.
At the beginning, many would only hear the beats and noisy sounds. But slowly
the melody will reveal itself to our senses. And the combination of melody and
modern grooves will bring us to a new experience in tamil music.
I cant only wonder what will happen when the movie comes out and we get to see
the visuals together with the music.
Cant wait for that moment.
