Whatever Pyarelal might say, it doesnt affect the fact that LP is one of the most successful music directors in hindi film industry. May be the most successful. Before you guys get upset let me tell you why. They started their career in 1963 with Parasmani. Their first block buster was Dosti 1964. They had blockbuster songs every year all the way till Klahnayak. (1993). Which means 30 years of hits. They did compose after Khalnayak but never had a big hit. Composing hits for 30 years is not a small thing. The taste changed so much in that period and they were able to adapt. But now he has grown too old to adapt. This will happen with everybody. Sad human truth.
For people who have loved Hindi music, they can never forget Dosti, Khilona, Amar Akbar Antony, Ek Duje Ke Liye, Bobby, Satyam Shivam Sundaram, Ghulami, Utsav, Hero, Roti, Shor, Kranti etc. Lets not insult them. .. I am sure 30 years down the line you wouldnt want someone to say something similiar about ARR. On Dec 24, 2007 4:14 PM, Gomzy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Vijay ! you cant be that ignorant either!
