Well as I said earlier both songs are from the same Raaga but the tunes are quite different...If you don't believe, try to play the tunes of both songs using any musical instuments (especially flute)... You will have realize that the keys are different but both songs have the same style and arrangement (for the first line of the songs)....
It is undeniable that M.S Visvanathan is a great composer of his time and also a very kind human being...He has mastered Indian music very well and came up with great different tunes....
And yes..Kamma Karayilea indeed better than athi ennadi raakkamma..
