After sometime, today i was hearing En Kadalae from the flim Duet...its very mesmerizing...what a number from arr. The music is mindblowing and spb had put in so much of soul in rendering that song...how i wish both arr n spb could have got a national award for this. SPB is really the best singer in India...for playback singing..his variations and diversity in singing..is a class of his own. I do not know why..nowadays..spb is only singing for arr and illayaraja has completely sidelined him. Anyway it does not matter...it does not help..
But i remember arr has said that spb has a very good voice and hariharan too complimenting spb having a very powerful vocal. Arr sir....just keep on using spb..he justifies the songs u have given him so far...and another request is that..pronounciation is very important. Children are hearing your songs and the lyrics...so if its right it only helps the children to speak better. Hope this request would be considered...and young singers should definitely polish their language/pronouciation skills To my observation i guess there are very few singers..who has excellent pronounciation for tamil n they are Tamil 1. SPB 2. Unnikrishnan 3. Bombay Jeyshree 4. Unnimenon 5. Chitra 6. Sujatha 7. Mano 8. Malaysia Vasudevan 9. Swarnalatha 10.K.J.Yesudas 11. Janaki The younger generation 1. Harish Ragavendra 2. Vijay Yesudas 3. Sreenivas 4. Prasana (* pls give this guy a chance in your songs * good voice ) He has sung in Thavamai Thavamiruthu song track title ( Unnai Charanadinthen ) 5. Karthik 6.
