I'll take a look. Between my last mail in this thread & this one, I've cracked open my cubox i4p and removed the RF shielding revealing pads on the SoC board which the "micro-SoM" manual purports are JTAG. I'm soldering wires between them -> busblaster as to have a better hardware debug tool. I'm not sure whether others working on the cubox prefer such luxeries but I couldn't find any other instances of people doing this online & figured it'd be worth mentioning.
