AJust to let others know (maybe some ideas come up),
I've noticed that if I put printfs on the execution path
of timer interrupt responses, the system behave differently than
not having those printfs (so maybe there is some kind of race
condition on priority settings of IRQ# that is triggered based on the
execution time of the interrupt code).

The trick I've made to receive some "readable" output in the printf()s
case, was to print a space and a backspace:

printf(" \b");

and the result is a little step ahead...but still not enough:

NOTE: the first time it asks for shell executable I press enter, the
second time I've inserted /bin/ksh
