Hello Laurence, we're heavily working on the ARM subtree, which will enable is to add a port for the i.MX6 SoC, too.
I'm planning to add i.MX6 one the infrastructure is ready. It won't take that long anymore. ;) Cubox-i could be supported, yes. I'd need to have a look at the documentation, once it's available.
