There is no question, there is something that changed in the 6.9.4 kernel update that changed monitor/resolution detection and which is selected on boot. Let me know what logs and I'll get them to you. Happy to e-mail logs off list as well if that will help.
Maybe you can bisect with https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Modprobed-db which caused the issue?
