I finally bought that card. The confusion is that the card is sold as Aureon 5.1 PCI, but after unpacking I realized that it is actually Aureon 5.1 Fun (the board is labeled so). The chipset is CMI 8738, supported by ALSA module snd-cmipci. Until now I have tested SPDIF with stereo PCI, Dolby Digital and DTS passthrough. These are working without problems.
