No, it's a 32 bits monocore (Barton XP3200) > If you use an SMP kernel, do you get different results with a UP > kernel? I use the kernel provided by Debian which is SMP-for-all since 2.6.17. I thought about a problem with this SMP choice and tried 2.6.16 which is UP. I also got failures with ac3. If you want I can recompile the kernel I use for test with UP, but I don't think it will change the result.
