Two weeks ago, I purchased a Shuttle ST61G4B; it has
an ATI IXP 150 chipset, so I think the new atiixp
driver should support the on-board audio. I believe
I've set everything up correctly (I've done this with
other machines in the past, so I'm not completely
green :), but I keep getting "codec read timeout"
errors (included, at the end of the message, are the
relevant snippets from syslog et al).

I've searched the mailing list archives and google but
can only find messages lamenting the same error.

The PCI slot in the machine is filled with a Hauppauge
WinTV-PVR-350, so I cannot add in a PCI sound card.
If this is hopeless, I imagine I'll have to find a usb
audio solution. I'd much prefer getting the on-board
audio working though.

Any guidance, please?
