I've the same problem with my soundcard. It works well with the alsa
0.9.0rc5, but it behaves exactly the same as Keith's soundcard with any of
the recent versions of alsa (including 1.0.0rc2). Everything seems to be
fine, but there is no sound going out of the loudspeakers (mixer seems to be
muted).
I own a Soltek mainboard with VIA KT333 chipset with VIA 8233A chip.
