Hum, I've disabled pcmcia and hotplug from init.d, but alsactl still crashes.
Oops show now some other modules instead of pcmcia ones.
In fact `alsactl restore`, launched from init.d start/stop, will always crash. Maybe an
issue related to snd modules (un)loading?

BTW I've upgraded to 1.0.0rc1 but still get the same problem.

I've decoded the oops w/ ksymoops, you can find that in attachment.

Any clue would be welcome :-\. Do you think it has something to do w/ the oops
I get when playing .ogg (reported on 2003/12/01, fault in snd-pcm).
