[Alsa-user] envy24 & mplayer

Hello, I have not been able to get mplayer to work properly while 
playing dvds in any configuration with alsa. I can use mplayer, alsa and 
 a sb live fine. And I can use oss/pro, envy24, & mplayer with success. 
I downloaded the asoundrc from the wiki for this card, I tried using 
alsa directly and oss emulation, but I get no love from 
mplayer/alsa/envy24. When I use oss emulation, mplayer drops frames 
badly and the video falls way out of sync with the audio. when I use 
alsa directly the video is fine, but I get no sound at all. Does anybody 
have any suggestions? I would much rather use alsa instead of oss/pro as 
I really like fluidsynth, which works great with alsa/envy24, but not 
with oss/pro/envy24. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. -Garett
