I managed to install all the ALSA RPMS and then recompiled the driver RPM for my architecture. Things went smoothly until I tried to load the modules which generated unresolved symbol errors. Suprisingly, the RPMS fixed the version.h problem I was having. I uninstalled the RPMS and tried to build again from source. Everything was fine until I got to the driver which gave me the same probelm again about version.h. I still have yet to find a solution to this problem that actually works. Has anyone else had better progrees?
