Hello, I have intel 845 chipset in laptop Compaq Evo N800v (82801CA southbridge). I tried to get alsa work with full-duplex. But I failed. (single stream operations work fine)
1. Do this card have support for full duplex ? 2. Is there anyone, who is running fullduplex on this card ? 3. How can I setup alsa to use more playback (sub)devices ? for example mplayer's error: $ mplayer xyz -ao alsa9:hw:0.1 ... alsa-init: soundcard set to hw:0,1 ALSA lib pcm_hw.c:1055:(snd_pcm_hw_open) open /dev/snd/pcmC0D1p failed: No such device although this file exists (i don't use devfs) Please help, i don't want use software artsd ..
