Wow! Thanks. I hate to bother you even more, but is there a way to have the OSS emulation switch between outputting to spdif and the analog jacks? I discovered the dsp_map option for snd_pcm_oss, but it I like to switch between headphones and speakers at the touch of a button, not having to reload the module. It would also work if I could have the OSS emulation send output to both PCM devices and have my script change the volume of each device as appropriate. When I used OSS on an emu10k1 I accomplished this by using emu-dspmgr to change the routes on the fly. ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Alsa-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-user
