Hello All! Using Gentoo here, I emerged the alsa-0.9.6 packages. Everything installs fine, I add alias snd-card-0 snd-usb-audio to my moudules file and start alsa
The drivers are loaded correctly, and I can see my Extigy in /proc/asound Howwever, when I run alsamixer I get this error: alsamixer: function snd_mixer_load failed: Invalid argument amixer also fails with: ammixer: Mixer load error: default Also, for some reason I don't have a /dev/dsp, but I'm not sure how that gets created (gentoo uses devfs).
