Hi all! I just carried my brand new multiface home from the post office but it doesn't get recognized by the driver. I suppose it's the firmware. Alsa cvs' hdsp.c isn't yet up to date judging by comparison with Paul Davis' patch version II I downloaded from alsa-dev archives. Unfortunately I couldn't apply the patch. Running patch tells me it's malformed. I guess the mail-archive scrambles it too much. There were some extra linefeeds I tried to edit out. After that the syntax was ok for patching but all the hunks were rejected. Mystical.
Will the recent patches to hdsp.c on alsa-dev be applied to cvs soon? Does anyone have a hdsp with firmware revision 11 working with alsa? If you have, could you send me your hdsp.c as an attachment? Sorry if I sound impatient but I'm too exited just to sit still and stare at the device.
