at first, check whether you really unmuted and adjustted the Master and PCM playback volumes. if still no sounds, please check whether headphone volume (unmute and adjust) has influence. if yes, let me know the product name of the board, output of lspci -v and lspci -nv, so i'll put a workaround to the driver.
