Hello, I have an RME Digi96/8 PAD working with alsa 0.9.0rc7. Asside from the odd system lockup, the card and driver is working well...
My question is: How do I determine the sampling rate of the digital input? I am transfering dat's which are mostly 48khz, but some are 32khz and 44.1khz. My deck doesn't display the sampling rate, and I'd like to record the material in its original sampling rate and resample later. When I use sox (rec -V), it shows the sampling of /dev/dsp as whatever I set the sampling rate to. I'd like to know if there is a way to see what the sampling rate of the digital input is. The RME site says that the card automatically detects the sampling rate...Can the driver display this?
