I've sucessfully got my Soundblaster PCI 16 installed and running. Despite some negative things I've read, the output sounds very good. And the midi port works fine as well.

But, now I'm trying to get recording to work... Arrrggghhh

I've fiddled with the various mixer settings to no avail. The best I can get is static, and perhaps a faint "recording" in the background of hiss.

I can only think that I've got something not set right...

- Driver ens1371
- Driver options in /etc/modules.conf -- none, since none seem to be listed in the docs

The other point of interest, to me, is that no DMA seems to be assigned. Do PCI cards not use DMA? Or do I need to set something from BIOS?
