Thanks, Yes indeed in alsamixer i unmute CD channel, I test on OS Windows XP the Pc Cdrom and its works fine. I don't see what i can do more. Philippe A couple of obvious points to check (I'm sure you have already ;-) ) Have you seen there is a separate volume control for CD output in alsamixer? Is your PC CDROM wired to the sound card?
