pardon my html mail (i'm at work)
I'm looking for suggestions on how to enable spdif (digital) output on my
redhat system.
The msi motherboard has onboard realtek ALC650 (AC'97). I downloaded the
alsa driver from realtek's site, modifed my modules.conf..and now analog
works perfectly.
tested with xmms and ut2003....but i had to use headphones for analog out.
i'd like to switch the output to spdif connector so i can use my digital
boston acoutics.
if this is wrong place for question, excuse my intrusion.
