Installing the newest kernel-source package should fix it for you. 
"kernel-source-2.4.18-19.8.0" in this case.

Also, keep in mind it's possible to have multiple kernel and
kernel-source packages installed at once.  You might want to remove the
old kernel and kernel-source packages, since it looks like they're still
installed.

If it's already installed, try specifying
"--with-kernel=linux-2.4.18-19.8.0".
