Red Hat 8.0, kernel: 2.4.18-19.8.0, Game Theater XP 6.1
after unzipping all the files for the rc6 driver to there appropriate directories and typing:
./configure --with-cards-cs46xx --with-sequencer=yes --with-kernel=/usr/src/linux-2.4
everything seems ok, then i type:
make
and it gives me this error:
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/alsa/alsa-driver-0.9.0rc6/acore'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `/lib/modules/2.4.18-14/build/include/linux/config.h', needed by `hwdep.o'. Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/alsa/alsa-driver-0.9.0rc6/acore'
make: *** [compile] Error 1
note the kernel directory it is trying to grab the config.h file from, my old kernel src directory, the build directory doesn't exist in EITHER one of the my kernel src directories, so whats wrong here???
thanks to any one who can help!!!
