I don't remember getting the front panel midi to work back with I had the sblive, but it works fine with the audigy (once I worked out which device it appears as!). Not sure about now. Looking at the source, it should be exactly the same as the joy port midi.
white and red connectors above line in 2/mic in 2, they are labeled L . aux in 2 . R - I guess that's what you call aux 2? so when you say one disables the other you mean that either aux 2 (red/white connectors) or line2/mic 2 (jack) works?aux2: do you mean the livedrive (front panel) jack that says line in 2/mic in 2? I couldn't make it work - how is it supposed to work (or does it make to try it again, I tried it few months ago)Yeah.. when you enable it (even in windows) it disables the other. On the audigy it's just enabled all the time. For me it "just worked" (tm) on both cards, although the hardest part was finding which column it was in alsamixer and muting/unmuting the right bit! I think you need to mute the sp/dif input (whatever it's called in alsamixer!) for it to work.is it the same as RCA live drive connectors?RCA?
anyway, thanks, I'll try to play with alsamixer (again... and again:-)
