-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi,
bad thing is, I already did this back when alsa 0.5.x was stable. They told me plain blunt and simple that linux is not supported. I also sent my complain to the crystal guys. They pointed me to their driver which works just a little better depending on the kernel version and, I don't know really, probably the weather or something. I eventually switched to onboard sound but got new hardware without onboard sound now. Maybe I just dig out the old SB16PCI that is somewhere in my old hardware box. :-( I'll scan the archives once more, maybe I'll find a recommendation that I can actually get my hands on.
