Dear All, I am considering uninstalling alsa so that I can install and use the commerical OSS drivers. They worked well for me in 8.2, but of course so did alsa. Oh well. Anyway, I just have not been able to find the answers to getting my sound to work right so far with alsa so I am giving up. Anyway, what files do I need to uninstall and how exactly must I uninstall them? I am a newbie so details will help. Thank you all for your help.
