Hi, I am using alsaplayer-0.99.72-fr2.i386.rpm on RedHat8 for first time.
[surinder@jasmine audio]$ alsaplayer --version alsaplayer 0.99.72 Other things like alsa-driver, alsa-lib, alsa-utils are version 0.9 If I try already available mp3 file it runs fine. But the wav files created by arecord doesn't give any sound. output of amixer follows my signature but I cann't make-out anything from it :-( any idea?
