Hi, I posted this question before but didn't get a reply. I am still struggling...
The card is a Delta 44 with 4 inputs and 4 outputs. I compiled alsa as per the web page and can use alsamixer to set the volume and can play a wav file. But I can't play/record from individual channels. I haven't used alsa before so I might be missing something obvious here. The -c doesn't have any effect. Selecting a different device with -D makes aplay report 'Sample format non available'. What's the magic incantation needed? Any pointer welcome.
