I just upgraded to a Sound Blaster Audigy Mp3+ from an aging Awe32. I uggraded Alsa to 0.9rc3 to get Audigy support. As far as I can tell everything is great in 2 speaker. In Xine surround I have two problems. I turn on everything except passthrough (I have no 5.1 decoder)... I say yes to 5.1 and 5.1LFE. All the audio is routed to the right places from what I can tell, but I get little crackles in the audio. I have tried adjusting the sampling rate all over the place. The card can do 96khz/24bit, I tried 44.1,48,96 forced and non-forced. Nothing helped, sync just got all screwed up. Pointers? Help? Evil Vibes?
