Thanks in advance for any responses... I'm trying to install the stable version of ALSA. When I try to ./configure the drivers, it says it can't find version.h in the /usr/src/linux/include/linux/ directory. I went and downloaded the source files for my kernel (2.4.18) and installed them in /usr/src. It didn't install the version.h file. I went and downloaded them again from a different FTP and still don't have a version.h file. Is there some way around this? Can someone email me a version.h file for my kernel?
I did find two files that were installed by the kernel sources. These are: /usr/src/linux/arch/i386/math-emu/version.h /usr/src/linux/include/pcmcia/version.h Will either of these work if I copy them and put them in the correct directory? Thanks again. ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Alsa-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-user
