hmm, the basic part is identical between them, so my version shouldn't work for you, too. please try to comment out HAVE_COOKED in fm801-gp.c. > > > do you have multiple cards and activate them at the same time? > > then they might conflict with each other. > > not so many soundcards support multiple addresses for gameport, but > > most likely fixed on 0x200 or 0x201. > > Yes, currently I have 2 cards activated on a pc. > I want 2 cards and at least 1 gameport activated. > Do you know which cards can handle that? the built-in controls, cs4281, cs46xx, emu10k1, es1938, fm801, sonicvibes, and trident, don't conflict, since they have each own port. the others supports the legacy gameport. among them, ens1371 and ymfpci allow to change the address via control API. and als4000 has a module option to specify the address. on the others, the address is fixed. this might be 0x200, 0x201, or alternative. not sure which is actually used. but anyway, there is likely possibility of confliction.
