I'm trying to build the alsa driver for an old SB16 in a restrictive environment (32MB old Pentium). After an apparently successful build, modprobe outputs: /lib/modules/2.2.14-5.0/misc/snd-sb16-csp.o: unresolved symbol snd_hwdep_new_R94cddeae /lib/modules/2.2.14-5.0/misc/snd-sb16-csp.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.2.14-5.0/misc/snd-sb16-csp.o failed /lib/modules/2.2.14-5.0/misc/snd-sb16-csp.o: insmod snd-sb16 failed
I can't find that symbol anywhere. This machine has NO cdrom support and this symbol seems to be connected to CD support (?) . Any assistance appreciated. -- ************************************************************************ * Dave Serls Littleton, CO, USA * * dashs.denver.co.us sorrybiscuit.com * ************************************************************************ _______________________________________________________________ Don't miss the 2002 Sprint PCS Application Developer's Conference August 25-28 in Las Vegas - http://devcon.sprintpcs.com/adp/index.cfm?source=osdntextlink _______________________________________________ Alsa-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-user
