I'm still trying to record using my cs4237b card, and it still doesn't work :-(
I have been testing diferent configuration options and it doesn't change much. I use alias snd-card-0 snd-card-cs4236 options snd_port=0x530 snd_cport=0xf00 to my surprise it doesn't make any difference if I use 0x534 instead of 0x530. I thought that this was the isa-card adress, but apparently this is assigned by the alsa driver. So I conclude that as long as the driver doesn't give any errors in the syslog I may assume that it has picked/set the correct paramters. Does anyone have an opinion on the subject? And does anyone have any ideas as to why the sound works, but I record nothing? (even though I hear the microphone clearly through the speakers) mo ---------------------------------- E-Mail: morten <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: 05-Jun-2002 Time: 17:48:48 This message was sent by XFMail ---------------------------------- _______________________________________________________________ Don't miss the 2002 Sprint PCS Application Developer's Conference August 25-28 in Las Vegas -- http://devcon.sprintpcs.com/adp/index.cfm _______________________________________________ Alsa-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-user
