But with alsa I get the following error message both with xine and aplay: cw@Aiur:~$ aplay -D cards.pcm.surround51 tmp/test.wav ALSA lib setup.c:343:(snd_config_get_ctl_elem_value) bad value index Segmentation fault Very nice.
