Have the problems with quake2 been solved?
I'm trying to run quake2 and get an error saying:
------- sound initialization -------
/dev/dsp: Broken pipe
Could not toggle.
Any suggestions? I don't have any other audio programs running. I've
got oss modules loaded. Sound on my system works otherwise. XMMS and such.
