I downloaded Alsaplayer and was able to hear sound when playing CD. However when I use Xine to play an mpeg file I don't hear sound. I noticed some modules with unused after it. I'm more concerned with the one after the snd-pcm-oss... could this be the reason why I'm not getting any sound even after unmuting everything and raising the volume in the mixer?? Thanks.
