What needs to be done to get a MIDI keyboard to work with the latest kernel (2.5.6-pre2)? I have compiled ALSA, the OSS emulation stuff and the SB Live options into the kernel. KDE sound server configuration gives me the option for Advanced Linux Sound Architecture but when I select and try to apply it it give an error saying that it cannot find any playback device. I need to use the OSS option instead. When I try to run the KDE MIDI configuration it does not list any MIDI devices. Regular sound works fine.
